Who We Are:
The Los Angeles Community Protective Services (LACPS) is an Emergency Preparedness & Public Safety Organization created to assist schools, businesses, faith-based organizations, and community residents by providing emergency preparedness, and public safety, training, services, and referrals.
LACPS exists to support a network of sustainable community partnerships organized towards efforts of emergency preparedness, response, public safety, safe passage, and gang and violence intervention. Believing in public safety and emergency preparedness LACPS will achieve its goals by facilitating the development, training, and implementation of organizational safety measures, evacuation plans, emergency codes & procedures, safe passage plans, while coordinating the development of Campus Emergency Response Teams (CERT) planning & development, SB 1626 K-12 School Safety/Security Officers Training.
The goal of the Los Angeles Community Protective Services is to assist communities, business, and schools in preparing for, respond to, and recover from, emergencies, man made or natural, by providing Emergency Preparedness, Public Safety services, gang and violence intervention Trainings, referrals.
